Called, 'the best of its kind in the world,' by the New York Times, the Adirondack Museum is a destination for thousands each year. The Adirondack museum's twenty-two buildings and indoor/outdoor exhibit areas tell the stories of how people have lived, moved, worked and played in the Adirondacks. New Exhibits, year-round programs, family workshops and special events combine to make the Adirondack Museum 'the best regional museum in the world'' according to the National Geographic Traveler.
