The HAGUE FISH AND CLUB meets in their Club House on West Hague Road at 7:30 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of each Month. Since its founding in 1947, the Club promotes good fishing and hunting safety and sportsmanship, wildlife and forest preservation and balanced conservation practices. The Club maintains an outdoor shooting range for use by members and local sportsmen. Gun safety classes and other sporting programs are held on a periodic basis. Each Presidents Day holiday, in February, the Fish and Game Club hosts the ‘Family Fun’ Winter Weekend. The Gala event features many Winter activities including a Snow Sculpture Contest, Ice Rescue Demo, a Polar Bear Run, a Polar Bear dip in Icy Lake George, a Scavenger Hunt, a Pinewood Derby, Kid’s Games and Prizes and many, many more fun things. The Club also sponsors the famous Annual National Ice Auger and Chisel Contest during the Winter Weekend.
