Fort Ticonderoga

Located 1 mile east of historic downtown Ticonderoga, NY.

Fort Ticonderoga is a world-renowned museum and fort built 1755-1758. Site of major victories in Seven Years’ War and American Revolution. Restored King’s Garden, Garrison Garden, and Three Sisters’ Garden. Fort overlooks Lake Champlain. Major living history reenactments in June and September as well as other public events throughout the season.

From early May through late October, Fort Ticonderoga is open daily, including holidays. 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Costumed interpreters tell the story of the Fort throughout the day. Weather permitting, they fire muskets daily. The Fife and Drum Corps entertains with military music and precision marching as well as cannon firing throughout the day during July and August . Family activities are also available daily in July and August. The King’s Garden and other historic gardens are open early June - mid October and are included with admission.
